Kesava is a New Zealand trained osteopath,
graduating with a Masters of Osteopathy from UNITEC Institute of
Technology, Auckland. Fascinated by research, Kesava completed his
doctorate through the ‘School of Physiotherapy’, University of Otago in
2019. He has been an active researcher and has published more than 25
articles in international peer reviewed Journals.
Currently, Kesava is a principal academic staff member at Waikato
Institute of Technology, Te Pukenga, Hamilton. Prior to this, Kesava was
heavily involved in setting up the osteopathic program at the Ara
Institute of Canterbury, Christchurch.
Kesava has more than 13 years of clinical experience as an osteopath in
New Zealand. Prior to his osteopathic training, Kesava worked as a
physiotherapist in India and is also a registered physiotherapist in New
Zealand. He is looking forward to this role on the Council, which he
sees as an opportunity to serve back the profession.
