The full Council meets quarterly, usually in Wellington and for one business day.
The Council has also appointed a number of sub-committees that conduct aspects of the Council's business under authority delegated to them by the Council. The sub-committees convene when needed and often conduct their business by email or online (as authorised by the HPCA Act 2003) in order to achieve economic and timely decision-making.
If you wish the Council to consider any matter, you don’t need to wait for particular meeting dates. Submissions can be sent to the Council Registrar at any time and he will arrange for the matter to be considered by the Council at the first opportunity.
