Stiofán Mac Suibhne - Chairperson
Stiofán joined the Council in December 2006. He worked in private practice in Christchurch from 2005 to 2010 and is currently taking a break from full-time practice to pursue further studies. He was re-appointed for a second three-year term in December 2009. He is particularly interested in developing the scope of practice and developing post-graduate pathways for osteopaths.
Stiofán has a degree in Molecular Biology (Univ. London) and worked as a research scientist before undertaking audit training and working as a financial manager in social and healthcare organisations. He completed his osteopathic training in 2001, B.Sc. (Hons) Osteopathy at the London School of Osteopathy and taught for several years at both the British and London schools of osteopathy. He has several postgraduate qualifications; Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Univ. Greenwich), Certificate in Health Promotion (Open University) and Acupuncture in Western Medical Practice (British Medical Acupuncture Society / Univ. Hertfordshire). He is currently studying for a Master's in Health Science through the AUT.
Stiofán is also deputy chair of the Australia and New Zealand Osteopathic Council (ANZOC) and chairs the Overseas Qualification Assessment Committee. He is currently implementing a new assessment process for overseas trained osteopaths seeking registration in New Zealand or Australia.

Dee Taylor - Deputy Chairperson
Dee Taylor graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2000 and migrated to New Zealand in 2002, where she still lives and works as an osteopath. Dee has been the OSNZ peer group representative in Canterbury for 3 years and this has stimulated her interest in education and the osteopathic scope of practice.

Emma Fairs
Emma Fairs is a registered Osteopath who trained in the UK where she worked for two years before moving to New Zealand. Emma has been working in Christchurch for the last 15 years, in her private practice; her main clinical focus has been the Osteopathic management of Obstetric and Paediatric patients.
Emma has been involved in the development of Osteopathy in NZ, both the regulation of the profession and the development of a training programme. She was part of the NZQA panel that accredited the Masters Degree in Osteopathy at Unitec, Auckland; and for four years acted as one of the two Monitors for the supply of the Degree. Between 1997 and 2008 she was an elected member of the Osteopathic Society of New Zealand (OSNZ) and the New Zealand Register of Osteopaths (NZRO) Committee, initially organising the supply of post-graduate education in NZ, and for the last four years in the position of OSNZ President. Since resigning from the position of President, Emma has consulted for the OSNZ and the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand (OCNZ).

Martin Lambert
Martin Lambert is a graduate of the Unitec double degree programme. He was awarded the Master of Osteoapthy degree in 2007 and is currently in private practise in Auckland. Prior to undertaking his osteopathic training, Martin worked for the NZ Department of Labour in London for 5 years before returning home to commence is studies. While completing his studies, Martin served as student representative on the Unitec Osteopathic Programme Committee for 3 years. The youngest member of Council, Martin is looking forward to contributing towards the long-term sustainability of the osteopathic profession in New Zealand.

Sharon Lambert - Lay Appointee
Ngati Kahungunu ki te Wairoa te Iwi, Ngai Tamaterangi te hapu.
Sharon has worked in the health sector for 37 years, both mainstream and in Maori for Maori organisations. Maori health has always been an area of passion for Sharon but for some years now her focus has shifted to growing the Maori Health Workforce on a national scale through the partnerships of Nga Ngaru Hauora O Aotearoa, Te Kaunihera O Nga Neehi Maori and Te Whare Wananga O Awanuiarangi in the delivery of Te Ohanga Mataora Paetahi (Bachelor of Health Sciences Maori Nursing Degree) the first Maori Nursing School in Aotearoa.
Sharon is also the managing director of her own company SL Group Ltd which has run
successfully for the past 13 years. She has a Masters Degree in Indigenous Studies (2008) and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Teaching (2000). She is pleased to be joining the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand and looks forward to developing firm relationships within this sector over her term which expires in July 2012.

Warwick Bullen- Lay Appointee
Warwick is an honour’s (MA) graduate in geography from the University of Canterbury, a former secondary school teacher and owner of a Fine Arts gallery. He is currently a medical agent, but is also involved in a wide variety of community organizations.
Currently, he is President Nominee of the Rotary Club of Wanganui, Liaison Officer to the Rotary District Governor, Chairman, Wanganui Regional Opera Foundation, Secretary, Whanganui Community Groups’ Forum, and Secretary and Deputy Chair Whanganui Electorate, NZ National Party.
He is looking forward as a layman to promoting the profession, and contributing effectively to the Council, assisted by his broad background of community, professional and business service.
