Address changes

You must promptly give the Registrar of the Osteopathic Council written notice of any change in your postal address, residential address, and, if applicable, work address.

It is important that the Council has your current address. If the Council decides to revise the register of practitioners, we will send a letter to your last known address, asking whether you wish to have your entry in the register cancelled. If we do not receive a response from you within six months, or the letter is returned to us, we will send a notice to your last known address and may cancel your registration if you do not respond within 10 working days after the date of the notice.

NB: The Council must from time to time publish the register. The register may include address information about a practitioner who has not objected to the authority in writing to the inclusion of that information, or who has withdrawn a previous objection.

Name changes

If you change your name you must give the Registrar written notice of your new name. This must be done within 1 month after you change your name.
